Multimedia Centre
The multimedia centre is the principle office space and technological hub of the Piano Lab.This room comprises multiple workstations where students conduct their research and is equipped with digital cameras and LCD screens in order to facilitate video-conferencing sessions.
The multimedia centre also houses the central control unit, also known as the “stack”, from which the Piano Lab’s complete audiovisual arsenal and computer systems technologies are commanded, either directly or by touch panel.
Digital and analog video equipment:
- Records piano lessons directly onto DVD, or mini DV format
- Generates picture-in-picture and instant replay
Production centre:
- Includes a console, mixer recorder, speakers, and high-performance microphones. Enables timely and cost-effective management of all audio and visual files-recording, editing, formatting, and transferring.
