Susan Mielke and Professor Comeau’s paper, “Developing a literature-based glossary and taxonomy for the study of mental practice in music performance” is published in the Musicae Scientiae.

Professor Comeau’s paper, “Colorful illustrations in piano method books: A pilot project investigating eye focus” is republished in the Canadian Music Educator.

Erin Dempsey and Professor Comeau’s paper, “How professional pianists experience music performance anxiety” is published in the Piano Pedagogy Forum.

Jillian Beacon et al.’s paper, “Assessing the suitability of Kinect for measuring the impact of a weeklong Feldenkrais Method workshop on pianists’ posture and movement” is published in the Journal of Music, Technology, and Education.

Funding

As a co-applicant, Professor Comeau is awarded $25,000 by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) to organize a symposium.
