Professor Comeau is awarded $1,151,482 by Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) to create the Piano Lab.

Researchers: Gilles Comeau, Alain Desrochers, Martin Brooks, and John Spence receive a $10,000 grant from the University of Ottawa’s Development of Interdisciplinary Initiatives Fund and a $6,230 grant from the University of Ottawa’s Senate Committee on Teaching for their project Information technology and innovative curriculum development in piano pedagogy research.
