Ursula Stuber

A specialist in Eurhythmics and Eutony, Ursula Stuber studied music at the Conservatoire de Bienne and the Institute Jaques-Dalcroze in Geneva, and psychomotor rehabilitation and eutony at the Ecole suisse d’eutonie Gerda Alexander. She has taught music at several public and private schools in Europe and Canada. Ms. Stuber’s work deals with the body and movement in music education and interpretation, with particular emphasis on gestural, postural and sensorimotor education. She has conducted several workshops on medical aspects of art and is coauthor of the audiovisual presentation Accorder le corps à la musique [Tuning the body to the music]. Asked to speak by many different organisations and institutions, Ms. Stuber gives papers and participates regularly in international conferences.
